Q: iMessage

Hello there,

so recently someone had access to my Apple ID and I changed my password and now my iMessage won't work. When I'm trying to text at first its blue but when i send it, it doesn't go and it turns green. All settings for iMessage are on. I tried turning it on/off iMessage, turn on/off iPhone but still nothing. Any ideas??

Thank you for your time and help.

    Hello MariosD,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Community. I know how important it is to  keep your messages working as expected, and I'd like to help. As always it's a god idea to restart your phone as a first step, but if that does not help I'd recommend signing out of iMessage entirely and then signing back in. This will help ensure that the current settings are using the new password and not any old data.

You can sign out under Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Tap on your Apple ID to sign out. Afterwards, restart your phone again and sign back in.

If the behavior persists, or you run into any trouble, the entire community is here to help.
    Best Regards

Dear chris_g1, thank you for your reply. Still I'm experiencing the same problem, when i try to text someone that has iPhone, its still green it doesn't change even though the last text was green it still goes to green. I even restore my iPhone as a new, maybe that would help but nothing.
