Q: imessage an error has occured during activation
So I my iMessage and Facetime work for my phone number but not my Apple ID. I know I am putting the right email and password in but every time I enter it the is this message that says "an error occurred during activation. Try again later" or "an error occurred during authentication". This is very frustrating and I have been trying to fix it for about 6 months now. I have gone to an Apple store and they couldn't figure it out either. Please help I have tried all the things I have found on the discussion boards and nothing has worked thus far. My phone nor my MacPro will accept my Apple ID to use FaceTime or iMessage.
