Q: iOS 10: no more airplay to airport express??

I've noticed that in iOS10 my iPhone explicitly looks for 'Apple TV' to mirror the iPhone.

Which seems to mean that I have lost audio-only streaming to Airport Express, which I have a couple of in my house just for that purpose. Has iOS10 rendered my Airport Express setup obsolete or is there some other way other than the control center?

A:

It is still available in Control Center. CC now has multiple panes. Swipe up for CC, the Swipe left. You get the Music interface and here you can manage audio airplay

Hi,

There is an APP in the App Store: AllConnect and http://allconnectapp.com/
Works really fine until Apple solves their AirPort Express problem.

Hi,

I'm using the app "AllConnect" on my iPad Pro iOS10. Works just fine, try it on your iPhone!

It is working now with all my apps, open apple music, go to AirDrop, switch to your apple express, stop taht song, pen the other apps, and nowgo back to the Control Center and turn on AirDrop. Enjoy your music!!!a

Agreed. This is so bad I cannot see any solution to it.
