and then open Disk Utility and repair/First Aid the disk

my suspect are:
- wacom tablet, sometimes wacom drives caused strange behaviors
- an other USB3 HDD i have a time machine disk, and an other external drive, when i boot it seems to me to hear a disk spinning
- restore option for previous session open apps

Sep 26, 2016 11:07 PM in response to Al404by trevoz,I fixed a similar issue with a USB3 external drive by attaching it to a cheap Chinese USB2 hub once and booting from it successfully. Thereafter, it booted perfectly attached directly to the Mac Mini's USB3 port. Weird.
