Q: Problems in motherboard right after 1 year

I am from Ahmedabad India and right after 1 year of the laptop's purchase date, my laptop started turning off while I was using it.I got a hardware test done and they said that sensors were working slow. This started happening more frequently and I couldn't work so I gave it for repair at Apple authorized center. First they said there is a liquid damage in the motherboard and they will clean and fix the problem. Later, they said that didn't help and that they have to replace the motherboard which is extreme costly for me being a student. The warranty had just expired and now this. I haven't even been told the reason of why this happened. It's only been a year and I don't know what to do. I never expected this. Please help if there is any way out.

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), Bought on 17th August 2015

Liquid damage is not generally repairable. It is very extensive and causes corrosion, which usually requires replacing the entire logic board including the top case – trackpad and keyboard.

Your MacBook Air's warranty is not relevant since liquid damage is not a manufacturing defect.
