The following steps may help:
- If you have not yet done so, update your Apple Watch to the latest software:
- Restart both your iPhone and your watch, turning both off together, then restarting your iPhone first:
- Unpair and re-pair your watch:
- The Watch app on your iPhone takes a backup of your watch when unpairing via the app. Choose to Restore from Backup when offered the option during set up. Most data and settings will be restored, with some exceptions (eg Apple Pay cards, passcode).

Sep 26, 2016 10:13 AM in response to Jonathan UKby sassenger4,I have done all of your suggested solutions to no avail. The watch still appears to fail reconnecting to the phone via BT when not on wifi. The only way to reconnect is to toggle BT off then back on.
