Q: iPhone 6 iOS 10 is not recognized by Win10Pro laptop
iPhone 6 iOS 10 is not recognized by Win10Pro laptop
After upgrading to iOS 10 on my iPhone 6, it is no longer being recognized as an external drive by my Win10Pro x64 laptop on either the USB 2.0 or 3.0 ports. New cable is being used to eliminate that as an issue.
Why is this happening?
Do I need to go back to the latest iOS 9.x.x?
Is there and new driver I need to download onto my PC?
I am set to automatically backup to iCloud, but I want to import photos directly to my PC.
Thanks
Vicki

I had a problem connecting my iPhone 7 to iTunes AND my DCIM folder. My main problem was that at first i was using iTunes 12.2.something and after that I installed 12.5 which is the version you need to connect your phone(iOS 10.0.2) to iTunes. After I've connected the iPhone 7 to iTunes the DCIM folder appeared by itself.
