Q: How do I access iphotos>
I have always used iPhoto, and now it's gone. I can't do anything anymore. I had to upgrade to el capitan, and some things work, and some don't. I want to access iPhoto! It was very easy to manage my images. I don't know what to do!
iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Apple stopped supporting iPhoto about 18 months ago, in favour of Photos which comes as part of the OS.
When you open Photos it should automatically migrate your iPhoto library. If this doesn't happen then you can do it manually. Hold the option/alt key down whilst starting Photos, it should ask you to choose library.
You can get iPhoto back working, by following this.
Can't Update iPhoto because it is not available in the App Store Read carefully. Although it mentions Yosemite the same procedure works for El Capitan.
