Q: AirPlay mirroring not working - macOS Sierra

I do not know what has happened. AirPlay was working fine yesterday. Now today, it is all of a sudden asking me for a passcode to AirPlay to my Apple TV 4. When I enter the passcode that appears on my TV, my Mac then says "cannot connect to Apple TV". No matter what I do, I cannot get it to work. I have restarted both my MacBook Pro and my Apple TV. I have deleted the networkinterfaces.plist as suggested in another article among other things suggested.

I've also been having trouble with the stupid Keychain Access crap always popping up asking me for a password. I have never once had this happen before. I barely even knew what Keychain was until I updated to Sierra.

I do not know what has caused this. If someone has a working solution, please help me.

MacBook Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12)

I am having a similar issue, I have an older apple TV and when I mirror from my macbook pro, I can get sound out of my TV but no picture.  This only started when I switched from El Capitan to Sierra.

Airplay is working weird with Sierra; I used to mirror my macbook air screen to apple tv but use audio from bluetooth headphone by changing the output device in mb air sound icon. But now, after i mirror my screen, airplay disconnects as soon as i switch audio output to headphone.
