1. Reset. Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears. if that succeeds, go to (4) below. Otherwise, go to (2).
2. Restore. Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support
If that succeeds, go to (4) below. Otherwise, go to (3).
3. Recover. If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
4. Check for sufficient free storage. Check Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage (under Storage) and be certain you have absolutely no less than 10% of your iPhone's total storage free.
