Q: Can't view iCloud Drive files from iPhone

Hello,

I updated to Mac OSX Sierra, and chose to upload Documents and Desktop to iCloud Drive. Files are uploaded, I can see them through browser. But from my iPhone I can see only a TextEdit file. The files are listed in menu as "other documents" and they are "encrypted".

What should I do to make them visible from iOS?

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.3.3

Try toggling iCloud Drive on/off.

You have the iCloud Drive app installed on your device - is that correct?

Not "installed" but activated. I think is pre-installed and you just have to set in "on".

With the new iOS 10, one doesn't have to set it to on anymore.

I just realized that "TextEdit", "Preview" folders are working fine and if I put a file into them through MacOS, I can see it on iPhone.

The problem exists with Desktop and Documents folders.

What type(s) of files are these?

Perhaps there is no equivalent type of app on your phone to access/view them.
