Q: Cable to connect to LCD

Good afternoon,

I have a MacBook Pro 13 inch late 2013 edition and want to connect to an LCD player.  What cord do I need to purchase to make that connection?  I need to make a presentation using this computer in a couple of days and have been told I need a special adaptor to connect to LCD.  Thanks so much!

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013), OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

    Is this a Projector?

     

    a Projector is just the same as a display. Look at the interfaces available and choose the right display/adapter cable.

    Or post a link to the projector specifications and readers can help you figure it out.

     

    DO NOT go into your Presentation with doing a "dress rehearsal" with the ACTUAL equipment you intend to use, and timing how long it takes. A second rehearsal "In the room" is a good idea as well, but this is more difficult, and has less time to recover from problems.
