    Hi there ReneeMB!

Thanks for bringing your question about the Wi-Fi bars not displaying on your iPad Pro after upgrading to iOS 10 to the Apple Support Communities.  I upgraded my iPad mini to iOS 10 too and am happy to help you with your issue.

You mention that the Wi-Fi bars are not showing up, but not whether you're able to connect to Wi-Fi.  I'll provide answers for either situation to best assist you.

If you're unable to connect to Wi-Fi after updating, I have an article that addresses this very issue:

If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network

Quite often it helps to check if Wi-Fi is enabled, and also if Airplane Mode is on.  To check:
    1. Settings > Airplane Mode should be grey (toggled off)
    2. Settings > Wi-Fi should show the name of the network you're connected to

      1. If there's no network named next to it, tap on Wi-Fi and make sure it's green (toggled on)
      2.
      3. Under CHOOSE A NETWORK be sure the network you want to connect to is listed
      4.
      5. Tap the network you want to connect to, it may need a password
      6.
      7. If you can join it but are still unable to connect to the Internet, be sure to see if other devices can connect
      8.
      9. If you can see the network but cannot connect to the Internet you may also want to power cycle the router (shut it off, unplug it, wait a few minutes, plug it back in, try to connect to it again)
If you're able to connect to the Internet but don't see the Wi-Fi bars, let's try shutting down the iPad and starting again:

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    Best wishes.

    I have a similar problem.

After updating to iOS 10.0.2, my iPhone 6s plus has no problems with connecting to my home router but my iPad Air 2 links with the home router(a tick appears next to the BT Hub 6 router under Settings, Wi-Fi) but a workable internet connection is not made.

I have tried restarting the router and also a forced restart of the iPad but neither have helped. (The iPad can still receive a WiFi connection from my MiFi mobile broadband device)
