Sep 26, 2016 2:31 PM in response to psferrariby ChrisJ4203,iPhones purchased brand new would have a 1-year limited warranty. Warranty status can be verified by entering your serial number in this website. https://checkcoverage.apple.com/
A 90 day warranty sounds like a refurbished device or one used for an out of warranty replacement. Check to see what the warranty status of your device is with the website. It is also possible that you purchased a grey market device and not a new one. Where did you purchase this device? You may not have purchased a new device.

Sep 26, 2016 2:43 PM in response to psferrariby sberman,One point to add to @ChrisJ4203's (always) excellent advice:
Did you purchase this iPhone from an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Retailer in Brazil? iPhone warranty is only honored in the country where the iPhone was sold.

Sep 26, 2016 2:46 PM in response to ChrisJ4203by psferrari,I purchased it in Apple Store at Highland Village (houston, texas). My old phone was broken and they could´t change the display, so they ofered this retail and I bought a new phone, that now has died and I can´t turn it on (something happened that the batery doesn´t charge), and the told me that my warranty had only 90 days thats why I can´t change it for free and my only option is to buy another one. Should I trust this information?

Sep 26, 2016 6:31 PM in response to psferrariby imobl,If you purchased the iPhone at full retail price, the warranty should be
valid (in the US only - you have no warranty in Brazil because the iPhone
was not sold there) for 1 year. If you purchased a reduced price Out of Warranty
replacement iPhone, the warranty (again only in the US) is valid for 90
days or the remainder of the warranty on the iPhone that was replaced, whichever
is longer. When did you originally purchase the broken iPhone?
tl;dr - you have no warranty in Brazil for an iPhone purchased in the US

Sep 26, 2016 6:35 PM in response to psferrariby ChrisJ4203,If you returned a phone and it could not be repaired, then you were offered an out of warranty replacement, which for a broken screen would only have a balance of the original warranty or 90 days. Since it was for an iPhone 6, it was an out of warranty replacement, so it was 90 days. The warranty is over for that device. Besides that, the warranty for that device is only valid in the US, and can only be serviced in the US.
