Q: Program Photo reports that it can't restore right of access of your media library.

I have copied two media libraries from two accounts on an external disk.

After Mac reinstallation I have copied back media libraries in the separate account. But both media libraries are started only from one account.

When I try to start a media library under other account, the program tells me that it can't restore access.

What shall I do?

iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12)

What is the format of the external device - if it is anything other than Mac OS extended (journaled) you may have damaged your libraries by having them on an incompatible disk

    and this is confusing

Are you using one account as you initially state or multiple accounts as you later state?

The Photos library can not be used from multiple accounts due to permissions issues - it must be in your user account and only used there

I have two accounts on mac. Through finder I copied a media library of the first account, and then the second account.

Still not clear - do you have two copies of your Photos library with one in each account? If you do then each should work as the permissions issue only comes up when the library is opened from a different account

Backup your Photos library and hold down the option and command keys while launching Photos and repair your database - to not open the Photos library from any other account, only from the account you repaired  the database in

I will try to explain my actions.

I had two account on my mac, let it be: account A and account B.

In each account I had own media library, tel it be: library 1(in account A) and library 2 (in account B).

So then I was in account A I copied by Finder library 1 and also library 2.

Perhaps I shall log in the account B for copying library 2, but I did it from account A.

    When i reinstalled Mac.

And now I have a problem: I can open library 1 and 2 only from account A. But i need library 2 in account B.
