Q: IOS 7 updates have lowered my bluetooth maximum volume. Is there a fix for this?

I am using an iPhone 4 and since the IOS 7 update (and the following update 7.0.2) I have noticed that my maximum volume level on my bluetooth earpiece is far too low. I have checked the audio levels and set to maximum on both the iPhone and the Samsung earpiece. I have turned on and off sound check, and tried both turning off and using different EQ settigs in the phones music settings. I have also used a hard and soft shut down of the phone after changing settings with no solution.

I work in a loud environment and listen to audiobooks while I work. I had no problem in the past hearing, until the next morning after I updated to IOS 7. I have used wired earplugs and the volume level is fine, just the bluetooth seems effected. Unfortunately the wired earphones do not allow me the freedom I need to perform my job.

Is there another setting or fix that I am missing, or is this just a condition produced by the update and hopefully will be rectified by anouther update in the future?

Thank you in advance for any help.

I noticed the volume level in my car connected through Bluetooth audio (iPhone 7+ and ios10.0.2)  is much lower. In my car with my iphone 6+ I could keep the phone volume down to less than half and not be able to max out the cars volume level. With iPhone 7+ I can turn both phone and cars audio up to max and it's still not that loud. My vehicle is 2015 Lexus and I tested my iPhone 6+ and 7+ and it's definitely and iPhone 7+ setting or issue.

My volume is definitely lower on the 7. But it is also lower with headphones. My Bluetooth will not maintain an audio connection in my car so I am not sure about the volume. Do you mind if I ask what type of car you drive. I have read that BMWs are having connection issues.
