Q: Is it possible to transfer battery bug from an iPhone to a new iPhone?

I have an iPhone 6, which about 3 weeks ago, started having strange battery problems where the phone would turn off from battery percentages 30%-50%. I read a strange bug caused the phone to have trouble communicating with the battery. Apparently it's a known bug that caused some iPhones to do this. I just received my iPhone 7 and I am concerned about backing it up with the backup from my iPhone 6 that has the battery issue. My question is, is it possible to transfer the bug to the new phone and I will have  to start the phone as a new phone OR is it safe to restore the backup and not have the bug transferred?

    "Battery bug"??  Really??

How about reorienting your thinking here ...

If your iPhone 6's battery is displaying a battery issue, check Settings > Battery and determine the apps that are causing your excessive use.  If you don't change anything, then yes, these same apps may well cause excessive use on your iPhone 7.

If your iPhone 7 is differently configured (e.g., more storage), then that may help as well.

I'm positive it's not my apps. I don't use apps that are heavy on my phone. I will check my email and at 40% it will turn off. Once i plug in the charger and turn it back on, it still says 40%. I searched online for solutions and most people who spoke with Apple were told it was a known bug that was affecting some iPhones. You can search yourself.
