Q: Is it expensive to upgrade my phone even though my contract doesn't end for a long time?

hi, i have an iPhone 6s and the screen is completely smashed

should i just get the screen fixed or should i upgrade my phone?

how much would it be to upgrade considering i am not even close to the end of my contract ... ?

iPhone 6s, iOS 10

    Your service contract with your carrier has nothing at all to do with Apple.  The price of an iPhone is given in Apple's web site, but buying one from Apple has nothing to do with your existing contract with your carrier. If you want to upgrade through your carrier, then you need to discuss that with them.

     

    Regardless of what you do with the device, you'll still be subject to the terms of your service contract until it's completed or paid off.
