The price of an iPhone is given in Apple's web site, but buying one from Apple has nothing to do with your existing contract with your carrier. If you want to upgrade through your carrier, then you need to discuss that with them.
Regardless of what you do with the device, you'll still be subject to the terms of your service contract until it's completed or paid off.
