Apple WatchIt was not from Apple. Any such popup message will always be a scam.

Classic Mac OSNever respond to emails or phone calls asking for personal information. When in doubt, Quit browser or force quit it, and load it again with the Shift key held down. And then go directly to apple.com if it is about something on Apple. Personally. don't respond directly to update requests either. Verify always from the official source site and backup your data before proceeding.
