Q: Blue or white horizontal line across top of iPHONE 6Plus.  Screen frozen.  Hardware issue/replace phone?

Blue, sometimes white horizontal line appears across the top of iPHONE 6Plus.  At times, the size increases.  Screen freezes.  Rebooting does not help.  Hardware issue/replace phone?

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.3.3

Welcome to the club.  TONS of people are having the same issue.  I'm sorry to say we're out of luck unless Apple decides to step up.  You have three options: 1) Pay Apples $349 (I think) replacement fee and you'll get another 6 Plus that will have the same issues.  2) Pay a third party ~$150 to fix it.  Some will also modify it and put a protective shield over the the logic board to make sure it doesn't come loose again.  3) Wait for Apple to own up to it and offer some kind of recall.  No matter which you choose you should contact MccuneWright (Google the website, unsure if I can link without my comment being moderated and deleted). They are putting together a class action to put pressure on Apple to take responsibility.

Just know you're not alone.  My phone is is the same boat and I don't know what to do.

This is my second go around with this issue. Same thing happened last year. The first time they replaced the phone and admitted it was faulty. This time they told me I would have to pay $300. Only option we have is to make our voices heard with this issue. Google "Touch Disease" and you'll see numerous articles talking about it. Join the class action, just google "Touch Disease" and class action. Go to the FTC and raise a complaint.

Where you will be charged $300 for a known product defect. Or you can pay $349 to receive a replacement product that has the exact same defect, and when that happens you will be charged $300 more...

Come one Apple. Its time to comment on this and its time the customers receive some actual customer service.

I have the same issue my screen is flickering and was told it is  a common issue with apple iphone 6 plus. Apple is very aware of the problem and they are not doing anything about it.  Their rep told me if we don't admit it the problem doesn't exist!.. So all of us with a problem are just wrong..

I have the same problem with my wife's iPhone 6 Plus, it's now in totally unusable state. I'm not sure what do it, and I'm not happy Apple does not recognize this design flow and offers a fix (even a paid fix).

I'm used to iPhone lasting years.

The unfortunate part of this disfunctional phone is not having the 911 option work. Vdry scary!  What's Apple's solution for this?

Unfortunately, Apple got us used to denying, then being sued and then somehow making some plan to fix or recall.

Apple move and do that fix!!!

DItto, had the same experience at the Southpoint Apple Store....the wonderfully helpful sales girl was mouthing "I am so sorry" behind the managers back as he told me I was two weeks out of my one-year warranty and couldn't help me.    I ended up (out of sheer desperation) watching a Youtube video on how to fix this myself and it has worked for 7 months but has just started again today.   Very disappointed in people not taking ownership over this.
