Q: Not able to sign in to App Store

It shows that I am logged in to icloud and apple, but I get a popup saying “This Mac can’t connect to iCloud because of a problem with “my email address”  and it ask me to log in with my apple id and password. When I do this it does not reconginize my password. This started after I upgraded to Sierra. I cannot update any of the app updates because of this.
