Q: El Capitan

Hi all,

I've upgraded to El Capitan on my Macbook Pro 17 inch and both Safari and App Store refuse to load anything. I have internet connection and currently writing this on Chrome. I have also reset cache in Safari, reset safari, disabled plugins, etc. It's also the same for all users when i try a different login to the computer.

I have also reset PRAM many times with no success.

Both Safari and App Store must be connected somewhere for them both not to work?

Thanks in advance

    Hey there, Haztastic,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

I see that after updated to El Capitan, Safari and the App Store won't load anything. I can imagine that this is preventing you from using your preferred browser and downloading new apps. Let's see how I can help.

Since you just updated to El Capitan, let's try to test this issue in safe mode to see if you get the same result. Safe mode (sometimes called safe boot) is a way to start up your Mac so that it performs certain checks, and prevents some software from automatically loading or opening. This article will help you start your Mac into safe mode: Try safe mode if your Mac doesn‘t finish starting up

    All the best.
