Q: my ipod touch 5th generation has a black screen but i can still use siri and it is fully charged what do i do?

please help only just got it

    Try:

    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    - Restore from backup. See:                                                

    iOS: How to back up                                                                

    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.             

    If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

    Backup up to computer nif you can. If you can't do that automatic iCloud backup is not selected in Settings then yoo can't backup.

    Its tough when the screen is blank.  Are you at least able to the see the Apple logo when you force a re-start?  Perhaps your iPod is having hardware issues and you should visit the Genius bar.  It helps to regularly back up (weekly or bi-weekly) your iPod so that there is a recent version for situations like this.  Good luck.
