Q: iOS 10.2 Since installing iOS 10 Mail does not sound or give any notification.
I am using an iPhone 6s Plus and now have to check the Mail app to see if there are any emails and at that point, once they have loaded in, a badge appears and my notification sound is played. I have checked numerous settings, done a complete reset; all to no avail. Apple support was also at a loss. Any help would be appreciated

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
I understand from your post that you are not receiving any notifications or alerts for your new emails until you open the Mail app and the new emails are loaded. I know how important it is for you to be able to get notified in a timely manner without having to open the app itself all the time. The following steps will help ensure everything is set up properly for you to receive your mail notifications:
Best Regards.1. Tap Settings > Mail > Accounts.
2. Tap Fetch New Data.
3. Make sure Push is turned on.
4. Tap your email address email account and make sure Fetch is selected.
5. Tap Fetch New Data in the upper left corner.
6. Scroll down and make sure that Fetch is set to Every 15 Minutes, Every 30 Minutes, or Hourly.
7. Tap Mail in the upper left corner.
8. Tap Settings in the upper left corner.
9. Scroll up and tap Notifications.
10. Scroll down and tap Mail.
11. Make sure Allow Notifications is turned on.
12. Tap your email account and choose which options you would like: Show in Notification Center, Sounds, Badge App Icon, Show on Lock Screen, Alert Style When Unlocked, and if you want Show Previews on.
