Q: Notes IPad IOS 10

Accidentally deleted notes.  Thought they were backed up, but they are not.  Is there any hope of recovering this note?  I am desperate.

    Greetings AlwaysLadyDi,

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

I see that you accidentally deleted notes from your iPad, and you would like help trying to recover these deleted notes. I know that it's important to make sure that you have all of your notes on your device, and if you can recover them if you need to. Let's see how I can help.

First, if you have recently deleted these notes, you may be able to retrieve them from the 'Recently Deleted' section of your Notes app. Please open your Notes app, and make sure that your are in Folders. Here you will see a 'Recently Deleted' section for iCloud and 'On My Phone'. See if the notes are there.

Next, if you are using iCloud for Notes, you may be able to recover these recently deleted notes on iCloud.com. Please see iCloud: Delete a note, specifically, this section:

    Recover recently deleted notes

If you’re using upgraded notes, you can recover and edit iCloud notes you deleted in the last 30 days on iCloud.com or your devices with iOS 9 or later or OS X v10.11 or later that use the same iCloud account. However, you can’t recover notes you permanently removed (as described in “Permanently remove recently deleted notes,” below).

    1. Go to Notes on iCloud.com, then click Recently Deleted on the left.

If you don’t see Recently Deleted in the folder list on the left, you don’t have any recoverable notes.

If you don’t see a folder list to the left of the notes list, you’re not using upgraded notes and can’t recover deleted notes.

    2. Click a note on the right, then click Recover in the toolbar. The note moves to the Notes folder.

To recover directly to a folder other than Notes, drag a note from the Recently Deleted folder to another folder.

Note: If you delete a shared note that you do not own, the note does not move to your Recently Deleted folder. For more information, see Delete shared notes.

And finally, I want to share an article with you that will help make a backup of your iPhone's important data:

    Best Regards.
