How is your MacBook Air running different OS version? Regardless, is the Wi-Fi signal dropped with each version?

Has this always been a problem or just started to occur? What have you done so far to try to resolve it?

i tried reinstalling the OS, disc utility, wifi setup assistant, and just did a AHT. reports problem with my SSD, could that cause it? it started about 3 weeks ago & is getting worse, keeps trying to use wifi addresses i don't use & doesn't automatically use known ones. it's also dropping faster as time goes by

Unfortunately, it would be difficult to say. I would not suspect that a failing SSD would have a direct impact on the built-in AirPort hardware ... but it could corrupt any element of the installed software on the disc to cause all kinds of random trouble.
