Q: How can I reassign the drive to which iTunes saves my iPhone backup files?

C: Drive is full.  Want to save the backup to a different drive.  Is it necessary to save it to the same folder that iTunes is installed on?

iPhone 6 Plus, Windows 10

    Hello Nicolas MK,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I understand from your post that you would like to save your iPhone backup to a different drive. I know how important it is for you to create space on your PC. I recommend using the steps from the following article:
Locate backups of your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Find backups in Windows 7, 8, or 10

To find a list of your backups, go to \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\

Or you can use these steps:

    1. Find the Search bar:

      • In Windows 7, click Start.
      •
      • In Windows 8, click the magnifying glass in the upper-right corner.
      •
      • In Windows 10, click the Search bar next to the Start button.
    2. In the Search bar, enter %appdata%
    3. Press Return.
    4. Double-click these folders: Apple Computer > MobileSync > Backup.
    Best Regards.
