Q: Bad First Partition on iMac 5k Fusion Drive (3TB)

I've recently had some MAJOR HDD issues with my late 2015 iMac 5k.  After my iMac started randomly freezing then rebooting it eventually just stopped booting into the OS all together.  I had a time machine backup so I booted into recovery mode and ran First Aid on the drive (3TB Fusion Drive) and it failed on both the drive and the partition.  I then booted from internet recovery and ran the same tests which also failed.

I tried doing a Time Machine restore which failed and I tried a clean Sierra install which failed.

Then I formatted the drive, and created a 2.5 TB partition which made my drive have a .5 TB partition as the first one, and the 2.5 TB as the second drive.

Running First Aid on the .5TB partition still failed, but running it on the 2.5TB partition came back clean.

I ran DiskWarrior 5 to repair the .5 TB Partition and it ran it's course but when I went back to Disk Utility and ran First Aid it failed and still wouldn't allow an install on Partition 1.

However I did a fresh install of Sierra to Partition 2 which was successful and now my iMac boots.  But now I have this .5 TB partition that is useless and I can't seem to repair it so that I can merge the partitions and reclaim my while drive.

Any advice would help at this point.
