Q: Lockscreen flaws!!!

Does anyone notice that when you swipe right and tap on any of your recent opened app, it automatically unlocks the phone no matter what? I think it's really dumb and a big security failure. If you have found a way to fix it, please let the people know. At this moment, i suggest all of apple users to be extra careful.

When I swipe left to right in the lock screen, I get the widget panel. If I tap on a widget, I get prompted for my fingerprint or taken to the lock screen passcode entry screen. Nothing automatically unlocks unless I provide my fingerprint or type my passcode to access the widget's parent app.

I get that same behavior in an iPhone 7, an iPhone 6, an iPad Pro - all running iOS 10.0.2

What exactly are you talking about?

On the lock screen, swipe to the right brings up widgets, not recent apps.

Swipe to to the left brings up the Camera.

If you press the Home button to wake up the iPhone, you are unlocking it. Look at the top center of the screen and it will show you if screen is locked or unlocked.

It will still show as the lock screen. Then swipe to the right and tap one of the widgets (News or Weather) and it will open the app because the phone is unlocked by your thumbprint.

Turn in the phone using the sleep wake button, swipe right to the widgets and tap one and it will ask fot touch if it passcode.
