Sep 16, 2016 1:44 PM in response to ChromePlanetby sberman,Here is how "save image" is done under iOS 10:
- Touch and hold the photo (or video)
- Tap "Quick Look"
- Tap the upward facing arrow coming out of the box (in the lower left)
- Tap "Save Image".

Sep 16, 2016 6:43 PM in response to sbermanby ChromePlanet,Quick Look is not a menu option when tapping the images I'm referring to, possibly because they may be loaded remotely inside the emails? When I tap and hold, iOS thinks I'm working with the URL text, not an image. However this worked fine in iOS 9.

Sep 17, 2016 1:55 PM in response to ChromePlanetby Senjaz,I have exactly the same issue. In web there is no quick look option. I now have to Open in New Tab. Now the hold menu includes Save Image. Close the tab.
Well done Apple a one step process now takes three steps.

Sep 23, 2016 1:10 PM in response to Senjazby Narita-Soon,★HelpfulUnder iOS 9 there was as option to save all images in an email at once.
In iOS 10 this option is still there but available only after pressing a picture for some time. However I noticed that not all pictures are saved. I get many emails with multiple pictures, while saving only part are saved and some are not.
Any solution or suggestion?

Sep 26, 2016 6:01 PM in response to ChromePlanetby maximumsac,Got it. You have to use the 3-D Touch options, some of which i'm finding are quite useful.
touch and hold on th image until the image comes to the foreground. Notice an upward arrow at this point. Without letting up yet, slide the image up. A box with the options of 'save image' and 'copy' appear. choose save image, and find it in your photos app. HOORAY!

Sep 27, 2016 10:31 AM in response to maximumsacby ChromePlanet,This is simply not true. First of all, there is no 3-D touch on an iPad. On an iPhone, deep-pressing a remote HTML image embedded in an email results in a mini-Safari preview window of that page opening up, with no menu available. A simple tap and hold of that same image results in a menu popping up that allow you to do multiple actions, none of which include saving the image to your Camera Roll as was previously available in iOS 9.

Sep 27, 2016 5:00 PM in response to ChromePlanetby maximumsac,Thanks for the clarification. I should have specified I am using an iPhone 6s, and should have posted my reply to a topic related to saving an image through safari, not an email. I hope this helps someone wondering how to do this from safari!

Sep 28, 2016 8:05 AM in response to Narita-Soonby jje4,I'm having the same problem w iOS 10 on my iPhone 6. With emails containing multiple images, the save all images button is there, but it only saves a couple to the photo album. Regardless of how many images are included within the email, it only saves one at a time.
Any ideas?
