Q: Copying mobile nos into messages

in previous iOS was able to copy a number from a PDF and paste into messages. Cannot do it on 10.0.2 now?? Any ideas ?

    Greetings Alanram,


    I understand from your post that you are having issues with copying numbers from a PDF file and pasting it into Messages. I can understand your concern that is it not functioning as expected. I'll be happy to help with this. 

    The first thing that I'd like to have you do, is to have you close out of the app that has the PDF in it, along with the Messages app then restart the iPhone. 

    Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    Once the iPhone returns to the Home screen, please go ahead and test out to see if you are now able to copy the number and paste it into Messages. 

    If the issue persists, please reach back out with any error messages you may receive when trying this.
