Q: update to IOS

iphone 6s plus , was trying to update the IOS but it is switched off and showing me a msg to connect to itunes. i am connected to itunes but i afraid i lose all my data as I can not back it up now

    The data is already lost.

     

    Back ups should be done regularly so that, when the unexpected bad thing happens, you already have them. If, for some reason, you want to live dangerously and not back up regularly, at least back up before doing a major system update. Lesson learned for next time.

    Unfortunately at this point the data is already lost.

     

    Backups should be made before things go wrong, not attempt to make them after something has already gone wrong.

     

    At this point, all you can do is restore the iPhone through iTunes.

     

    Take this as a learning experience, and backup before doing an update.
