Q: IOS 10 location based reminders doesn't work

After installing an iOS 10 to my iPhone 5S, I found out that reminders which are set up to location are not working anymore :-( Does anybody have the same issue on iOS10?

iPhone 5s, iOS 10

Same for me.  In general since iOS 10 reminders are almost useless.  I'm having location issues and missing reminders and I hate the new format where you see it once, can''t snooze it then never see it again.

Let's try to enable location service for reminders manually and then ask Siri to create location based reminder - you will be surprised :-) The only way to force this service working is to reset privacy and location services.Settings > General > Reset > Reset Location & Privacy

    Hi,

I had a same problem and after testing with iPad and iPhone I discovered that they will work only with WiFi on, doesn't matter if you are close to wifi network or not.

Let me give you an example (was testing this in the past few days). I have iOS 10.0.2 both on iPad Air 64+Cell and iPhone 6s 64. I use Siri or manually to remind me to do something when I get to work (address in my contact list as "Work"). I keep enabled 3G and WiFi on iPad but only 3G on iPhone. What's following is interesting since when I arrive to my workplace, Reminder on iPad goes off as it should be even though I'm still on the parking lot without any WiFi networks around BUT iPhone is silent and it will remain so untill I turn WiFi on and the immediately reminders go off.

So, just set both 3G and WiFi enable and test those location based reminders

This got to be some kind of bug since GPS is what is needed to set those reminder and not the WiFi chip.
