Q: battery life
My Applewatch runs out of battery before the end of an event even if charged fully. Can I change the settings so that eg less frequent heart rate is measured in order to save some battery life? What to do?

Hi Monika,
There are several ways that you can conserve battery life on the Apple Watch with watchOS 3. Although you can't make the watch take less frequent heart rate readings, you can disable the heart rate sensor during workouts. This can be done by going into the My Watch app on your iPhone, Select workout and turn on Power Saving mode. You can also turn off the Raise to Wake feature so that the watch face won't turn on every time you raise your wrist.
If you want to see specifically what app/activity on your Watch uses the most energy, you can go into the My Watch app on your iPhone, select General, then Usage. This will outline the apps and tasks that use the most energy on your Apple Watch. Refer to this article for more information on battery saving on Apple Watch (and other Apple Devices):

Hope this helps.
