Sep 28, 2016 4:42 PM in response to Yostby gdgmacguy,Have you un-paired your phone or deleted it from your car kit? Try this and then try re-pairing the phone. Also, you should contact BMW and see if there is a firmware update for your car kit.
Best,

Sep 29, 2016 10:39 AM in response to gdgmacguyby Yost,Thanks for the tip, but it didn't solve the question. Calling my dealer feels kind of stupid as Apple clearly delivered a buggy iOS 10. This, the Music app with lesser features and all the bugs in the keyboard behaviour really are a big, big, big disappointment.

Oct 3, 2016 5:57 AM in response to Yostby Yost,I also experiencing connection problems between the car and my iPhone, sometimes. To fix this I have to disable bluetooth on the iPhone, and then enable it again. After this the car will "see" the phone and connect.

Oct 4, 2016 2:48 PM in response to Yostby jaccoK,Hello Yost, BMW 3 2015 and iPhone5S iOS. I've the same problem. Unpaired, all deleted. Paired and also not yet solved. I did also a network reset on my iPhone. But it did not solve the problem.
BMW has latest software and iDrive too.

Oct 12, 2016 2:31 AM in response to Yostby Yost,My problem is solved, but *not* because my iPhone 6 is working correctly again. Last week I received my iPhone 7 and surprisingly it works flawlessly with iOS 10 and the BMW.
So I'm okay now, but I hope that a future release of iOS 10 will fix this problem for people with older phones.

Oct 12, 2016 2:34 AM in response to jaccoKby Yost,My car software is up to date too. BMW webcare team suggested to contact the dealer. I never did, because my new iPhone 7 doesn't have the problem. Good luck with fixing the problem.
