Q: "Hey Siri" not working on iOS 10.0.1 on iPhone 7 Plus

Hello,

"Hey Siri" wasn't working on iOS 10.0.0 on my iPhone 7 Plus. When I say the command, the screen attempts to go to the Siri screen but then quickly goes back to where I was before, all in a second. I did the Software Update to 10.0.1 after seeing there was an update for "Hey Siri" however the problem persists.

I believe it's a similar to issue some are having on iPhone 6's, and the solution was that the device needed to be plugged in for "hey Siri" to work. I tried it and it did not work on my phone.

Please let me know if there's a solution out there or if you need more information.

One more observatio: I have an Apple Watch Series 1 (42 mm) running WatchOS 3.0 (14S326). When I turn off Bluetooth and disconnect my watch, "hey Siri" function is restored, but once I reconnect the watch, I lose it again.

I have a Iphone 6 and the much of the same problem.

Siri works on my bluetooth headsett.

Hey Siri works on the watch even i haven't enabled it in settings.

    But not on the device!!

    Tried almost everything,

    Tuning siri off

    Soft resetting the device

    Turning siri back on

    Disconnected the Watch

But when i disconnect the watch Siri still does not work.

    Resetting my device

    Restored from iCloud backup

    Turning Siri on

Nothing seems to solve the issue that siri does not hear me.

I have checked the both the front mics with dictation and both are working perfectly.

Must bee something with Watch os3 and Ios10??

I Have the same problem .

I've had my iPhone 7 lot for about two weeks now and as of yesterday, siri stopped responding.  Holding the home button didn't work and turning off hey Siri and turning it on didn't work either. Then I restored my phone  which didn't work. Then one more time I restored to factory software and that didn't work .  The only way to get Siri to work is to shout into the back of the phone.  The case is the same For voice dictation which I am using right now. I have to shout in to the back of the phone near the camera. I called apple care and they said they have no solution and that I should take it in to an apple store.
