Apple TVI wasn't aware there is an app just for the series 2 watch, I'm aware of an iTunes remote app and an Apple TV remote app, is it any of these you are referring to. So fr as I'm aware you shouldn't need to pair your watch with any Apple TV if your phone is already paired with it. Mine can see all my Apple TV's and I didn't need to pair any.

Sep 29, 2016 4:47 PM in response to Winston Churchillby ian.deutsch,I'll admit that I'm new to the Apple Watch, but there is a built in remote app in WatchOS 3. It can see my two other 3rd Generation Apple TVs just fine. It cannot see my 4th Generation Apple TV though, which my iPhone (with iOS 10) is paired to using the latest Apple TV remote app.

Apple TVThen I suspect the problem lies with your network environment. Try restarting the Apple TV and router. Can the remote app on your phone see your Apple TV 4.

Sep 29, 2016 5:19 PM in response to Winston Churchillby ian.deutsch,i have restarted the Apple TV, no change. iOS app can currently see and control the Apple TV. Apple TV is connected via Ethernet and access point is running well, so I don't think it's a network issue.
