Q: Apple configurator - ios 10 - allowed apps issue with dialing

Hello,

We use apple configurator to generate configuration profiles which imported to MDM and remotely install to iphones.

Suddenly we have a strange problem with configuration and IOS 10. In the configuration we use "Only allow some apps" and with this settings we can't make outgoing call. Nothing happen....(nothing happen is hit the risking button, nothing happen if select contact and select the phone Number and hit the Call button). receive works fine...if configuration profile edited and allow the allow all apps restriction the call works again..

Any idea what should happend in the new IOS? There is a new system app which we should include in the allowed app list?

Regards

iPhone 5s, iOS 10, null

    Hi,

we have exact the same issue. We use Apple Configurator to generate profiles and import them to MDM.

Suddenly after updating to iOS 10 and using only allow the apps in the section - whitelistedAppBundleIDs - we can't make outgoing calls. Tapping the green button is not working.

Any ideas what happened after updating to iOS 10?

Same behaviour with iOS 10.0.2 and whitelisted BundleID com.apple.mobilephone

I contacted with apple. (made some test, send configuration). Today we confirmed by apple this is a bug. They currently can't say if its IOS or Apple configurator related, but definitly bug.

If i got any news i post it to you..

Hi, try adding "com.apple.InCallService" identifier as white listed. That did the trick for us
