Q: empty faces / faces not on the photo

Sep 29, 2016 5:03 AMby léonie,How are you declaring a photo as "not a face"? Do you mean you delete the faces circle by clicking the "X"? That will indeed create empty persons without a thumbnail. I collect these empty faces by merging them into one person "to delete" and are waiting for a bug fix.
there is a second problem causing empty thumbnails. If photo has been hidden from the moments it will appear in a persons album with a white thumbnail and an image count of one, but the album will be empty when you open it.

What confuses me is my second point to which I didn't find anything on the net. On some pictures appears a person in the info box which is not on the the picture at all and there is no circle to delete it. This person does as well appear in the people's album where I can't mark it as "this is not this person" either. I hope this is a bug that will be fixed with the next update as well.

This person may be in the hidden album section, where you cannot recognize it, because the faces circle has already been removed and the thumbnail will be empty. It is currently a bit messy, that the faces circles can be removed from photos, resulting in empty thumbnails in the People Album, but the faces still appear in the Info panel and remain linked in the Memories.
