Q: How to set default alert for every iCal event AND have Apple Watch notify me?

Is there a way to do it? I did the following things

* Enable Calendar notification to mirror my iPhones

* On iCal app on my macbook, I set the default alarm for each of my calendar to be 5 minutes before an event.

However, I only receive the said alarm on my macbook, and not on my iPhone. Is there a way to have these notification on my Watch? Sometimes I miss appointments because of this.

Apple Watch, iOS 10.0.2

    Hi

Follow the instructions to here to sync your Calendar events across your iPhone and MacBook:

Note also that how notifications behave across your iPhone and Apple Watch depends on the status of your devices and on your settings. With Wrist Detection enabled, in order to bring notifications to your attention as soon as possible:

    • If your iPhone is unlocked, you will receive notifications on your iPhone instead of on your watch.
    • If your iPhone is locked or asleep and your watch is unlocked (regardless of whether the watch screen is asleep or awake) and on your wrist, you will receive notifications on your watch.
    • If your watch is locked or has Do Not Disturb enabled, notifications will go to your iPhone.
