Q: iOS 10 Photo Library permanent in analyzing status

Hello,

during the last week I updated my iPhone 6 to iOS 10.

I checked the new photo features and recognized that the faces has been scanned successfully.

But if I select a photo and click on the details button, I saw the message "Library Scanning 0%".

The memorials section was empty, too.

Last Friday I received my iPhone 7 and configured it from a backup of my iPhone 6.

I checked the photo app immeaditely and recognized that some old photos (before september 2014 - switch iPhone 5 to iPhone 6) were not displayed in the right order. These old photos were placed at the end of the list (behind my latest one from the iPhone 6). I removed these old pictures from my iPhone to have a valid order (old pictures above and the latest one below).

But I'm still facing the problem with the "Details" view (library scanning 0%) and the memorials section (still empty).

Does someone else are facing these kind of problems and have a solution? Is it a bug in iOS 10?

The face scan seems to work.

Finke

Does nobody else facing the same issues? It's only the memorials part affected. The faces have been scanned successfully. I already reset my settings and updated to iOS 10.0.2 but it does not help. Sometimes it shows 40% at the status bar but if I close the photos app and open it again it shows 0%.

What can I do? I don't have special type of photos.

I had this issue as well. I finally fixed it by force-quitting Photos, and then restarting my iPhone. After the restart, when I went back into Photos, the "Analyze" was gone, and the "Related" section is now working, for me.
