Q: iTunes will not play songs
I am on 12.5 (latest version) and Windows 10. There is nothing wrong with my speakers. I can listen to iTunes internet radio, but when trying to play music from my library or iTunes radio the song advances to the end and never plays. The status bar shows the song being played, but the blue bar is immediately all the way across. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, repaired and restarted my computer. I've deauthorized all computers and authorized just this computer and nothing seems to be helping.

Try Edit > Preferences > Playback > Play Audio Using and change the setting. If that hasn't helped set it back to where it was and try once more. Otherwise see the second box in Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates and see if a full tear down and rebuild of iTunes helps. Note the recommendations to disable antivirus when reinstalling iTunes and to run the installer as the administrator.
