Oct 1, 2016 7:45 PM in response to carmraqby peterlrowley,I started having this problem around 5 days after I upgraded to watch OS 3, on my original watch. My battery consumption is worse too... I used to end the day with at least 50% left and now it's anywhere between dying around 9pm and ending the day at 30%.
Also puzzling -- sometimes when it claims it's trying to measure the heart rate, it hasn't even got the green LED's on (I peaked under the watch). Perhaps a strategy to save battery power when it's below a certain percentage? It might be trying to use the infrared approach to measuring heart rate.
Hoping for a watchOS 3.1 (or 3.0.1) that fixes these issues...
