Q: The video problem on my late 2011 mbp happens again within 1 year after call back repaired by Apple.

My MBP is the unfortunately call back machine with graphics problem. I got the problem and sent to Apple to get it fixed last September. After I fixed it, they told I have a 3 months extend warranty. That newer motherboard was a pain in the ***. I got may sort of problems, mainly the 3.5mm issues, in a month and had to exchange to another motherboard again. The even newer motherboard had keyboard lighting and fan problem and got fixed again. Those terrible problems was solved by the 3 extend warranty. It's so much Fxxking trouble, but it's free.

HOWEVER, now my graphic problem shows somehow. it's in early stage actually not too bad,I know this will take sometime to get worse. "MacBook Pro Repair Extension Program for Video Issues" is valid until December 31, 2016.

I contacted Apple that I may need to check it again for the graphic issue, and than I find out I am not qualified. Because I had already repaired my video issue and I am obviously not one of the customers that qualified this call back.

I have late 2011 MBP and I have the same problem Apple's Motherboards give to me twice. I called Apple and obviously there is nothing they can do for my problem even though this is the same video issue they have our machine call back to fixed, that didn't work, and the call back still not out of date. I had an one hour call to Apple to explain my problem and keep getting the same answer. I just keep repeating "MacBook Pro Repair Extension Program for Video Issues" is valid until 2016 December. Why my MBP has this problem, the second time within the valid date, cannot get it fixed?

My 15" MacBook Pro is among the "late 2011 category" and I have the same "display" issue again (blue screen, grey screen, all in black...) around 1 year after the rework program. I'd checked with Genius Bar recently but was told that no hardware defect had been found. Guess it might due to some bugs with the display driver? Even updated to Sierra does not seem to help much.

So the point here is...I don't have concrete answers from Apple to determine whether my Book is having problem(s) in hardware or software aspect.
