Oct 2, 2016 5:53 AM in response to PerryParkerby Gromerog,I just realized that I have the same issue and as far as I know Apple is not used to store anything and send it for downloading in .zip format. I also happened to update my iPad Pro with the 10.0.2 and it crashed. I had to restore it and lost a big chunk of info. And to top it all off, when I was asked for the password of my apple account it came up the email address of an account I hadnt ever created. We assume Apple has no breaches in the system and is unassailable but I'm starting to be more cautious in this regard.

Oct 3, 2016 12:28 AM in response to Gromerogby PerryParker,Having spent some time chatting to a senior apple advisor he was of the opinion that this issue is most common when using a VPN having just updated to ios10 ? He also said that "it is storing a compressed version of the logs (logs just being error messages) to a zip file. It would copy to a computer when synced with iTunes but otherwise would not be shared with third parties".
