Q: After updated to IOS 10 my devices cannot connect to PC

I can't connect both my Ipad and Iphone to my pc after i updated to IOS10 but my ipad mini which hasn't been updated yet has no problem connecting to pc. What should I do?

    NO matter how many times i tried to pull the cable out and click trust nothing happens and still no connection to PC

    Disconnect the iPad and iPhone from your computer then restart the devices and the computer then re connect one device to see if iTunes recognizes it.

     

    And make sure iTunes is up to date on your computer.

     

    Get the latest version of iTunes - Apple Support

     

     

    Are you seeing any error numbers?

    There were no numbered errors. I did not connected the Iphone and Ipad at the same time. The itune is also the latest version. I also tried restarting the PC &Iphone and Ipad like more than 5 times

     

    it says there is an invalid response from the device. I also tried updating driver as recommended in many posts but it doesn't help

    What version of iTunes do you have on your computer?

     

    iOS 10 requires iTunes 12.5.1.

    I Am using the latest version of itunes. I tried to connect after restarting both devices. But it isn't connecting.

    I had the same problem, tried reconnecting hundred times, nothing...

    Then I went to Apple Software Update on my pc in the start menu, checked for updates, had to download 180Mb of updates for iTunes and Apple stuff, restarted my pc and connected - all good. Much better user interface too! Hope this helps!

    The same issue! Plus, all applications can't connect to photos, microphone... IOS10 has many bugs!!!

    By the way, I'm using iPad Air2.

    This post was the very most helpful...  When I launched iTunes and checked for an updated version, it told me that the current version was the most up to date.  When I went to my computer apps list and launched Apple Software Update, first I had to update that.  Then, the new version of iTunes showed up in the list for updating.  Thanks!

    I wanted to update my iPad to ios10 and now it is blackout and I've already connected to the iTunes and it says to allow access, please respond on your iPad !! Please help me

    Disconnect it from the computer, and press the home and power/sleep buttons together for 10 to 15 seconds or until the Apple Logo shows App, let the iPad reboot.

     

    See if it can come back on correctly.

     

    If it doesn't you'll need to place it in Recovery mode.

    I have my PC running Ubuntu 14 LTS.

    After updating to iOS 10, I can no longer access my photos and synchronize them though I can clic on "Trust this device" when it pop ups that prompt.
