Q: iCloud Mess
Hi -
I couldn't see the up-to-date contents of my iCloud drive on my iPad, so I signed out and attempted to sign back in. I correctly entered my apple ID and password, but, after saying "verifying" for a while, it prompted me for a 6-character passcode, but refused BOTH the verification code it sent me earlier and my password. So I cannot re-login to my iPad's iCloud.
To login HERE to this forum, I had to have the system send me a NEW verification/authentication code. SO I thought maybe that one would work on the iPad, but it doesn't. ANd there is no place on the iPad passcode prompt to send a new code.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or not doing?

I eventually got it working by going to my Mac, logging in via the web to my Apple account, removing the iPad device and then re-authorizing it.
I have to say that I've had few problems with the Apple ecosystem, but many of them have been with iCloud authentication, which I find user-hateful.
