Oct 2, 2016 3:13 PM in response to riley0747by Jim Wanamaker,You are using iMovie for the MAC on your air. That is a different app than the IOS IMovie that is on your iPad. The projects you create on one can not be also edited in the other. All you can do is share your project from your air iMovie to a file as a movie and then synch it to iMovie on the iPad using iTunes.

Oct 2, 2016 4:14 PM in response to riley0747by Jim Wanamaker,It will show up in iMovie on the iPad as a video clip. You cannot change it just use it in an iMovie project as you would any other video clip you add to your iPad iMovie project.

Oct 2, 2016 7:31 PM in response to riley0747by Jim Wanamaker,I am not that familiar with iPad so there may be other ways to do it. One way is to import the clip into Photos app on your air. Then when you synch iPad with iTunes select to synch your Photos videos. The problem here is I believe it will synch all the videos you have in Photos videos which may not be what you want. As I said there may be a simpler way. Hopefully someone will join this thread with an alternative option. Have you looked in IOS iMovie help for import options?
