Q: iMac with launchd_core_logic issue
I have an iMac that I haven't used for a while and just started using again. I noticed that it's been running a little slowly and guzzling internet data (3 gb beyond what I know I used today). I opened console and found a zillion messages that look like this:
com.apple.launchd.peruser.502: (com.yourcompany.My_connection [####]) Bug: lunchd_core_logic.c:4771 (25247):2
The #### is the only part that changes. It is mostly sequential (5231, 5232, 5232, 5232, 5234, 5235, etc). I get approximately six of these messages every minute. Every two minutes or so, there is also these three messages:
com.apple.launchd.peruser.502: (com.yourcompany.My_Connection[####]) posix_spawn("/Applications/My Connection.app/Running", ...): No such file or directory
com.apple.launchd.peruser.502: (com.yourcompany.My_Connection[####]) Exited with code: 1
com.apple.launchd.peruser.502: (com.yourcompany.My_Connection) Throttling respawn: Will start in 10 seconds
Then that first message repeats about 10 times until these three appear again.
Specs on my computer:
iMac Late 2006
10.7.2
2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
4 GB 667 MHZ DDR2 SDRAM
Can anyone tell me how to get this to stop?????
I'm good at doing "layman's" stuff with a computer, but I have very little knowledge of command line and that kind of thing, so please keep that in mind as you answer. Thank you so much!
