Apr 5, 2016 10:52 AM in response to oknielsenby King_Penguin,There isn't an international warranty for iPads - from the Canadian warranty document, http://www.apple.com/legal/warranty/products/ios-warranty-canada-english.html :
Apple may restrict warranty service for iPhone, iPad and Apple TV to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device.
If it's a wifi-only iPad you might be ok and be able to get it serviced in Denmark ; if a cellular model you will probably have to return it to Canada

Oct 2, 2016 9:16 PM in response to oknielsenby RTPM,Excerpt from apple.com warranty at this address: https://store.apple.com/Catalog/Images/worldwidewarranty.html
"If the product is portable, meaning that it can operate independently without a power cord, you may obtain warranty service worldwide. However, service will be limited to the options available in the country where service is requested. If the product is not portable, warranty service may be restricted to the country where the product is purchased. Service options, parts availability and response times will vary according to country. You may be responsible for shipping and handling charges if the product cannot be serviced in the country it is in."
Hope this helps.
Cheers
